We’ve had a ‘wheelie’ good start to the weekend…
Every Friday our boats are topped up with fuel and given a checkover before the weekend’s harbour patrols.
Today’s session took what some might call a ‘trashy’ turn when the crew spotted and recovered a wheelie bin in the Little Channel – a danger to navigation.
They were later tasked by Port Control to investigate and recover a loose mooring buoy. The buoy was returned to the Port of Poole for collection by Poole Harbour Commissioners tomorrow.
Big thanks to our Maritime Volunteer Service members Alan, Neil and Chris for their help!
