Yes, we work closely with Powerboat Training UK and Dorset Marine Training – two local RYA-accredited schools.

We welcome anybody who would like to pass on their nautical knowledge and help run courses.

Will I need to purchase specialist equipment?

In general, no.

You will need to buy a lifejacket, which we will advise you about when you join. Aside from that, you won’t need to fork out a lot of money on expensive items.

In addition to the boating aspect of our operations, we hold monthly meetings in local venues (with a bar!) which usually feature a speaker as well as the opportunity to socialise.
