With List A & B membership you’ll be able to join us for all afloat activities, including training sessions and harbour patrols.

Our training program, under the Pathway document is unlocked for list A & B members, where you’ll progress through the system at your own pace.
Join our monthly socials and meetings
All members are invited to our monthly meetings, where a speaker will provide an interesting talk, often on a nautical subject.

Membership Types
We offer four categories of membership, depending on your circumstances. The vast majority of members will be allocated to List A.
List A - Operational Member
Full membership in every regard, with access to all our vessels and training sessions.
List B - Operational & Technical
Aimed at people with prior boating experience, other similar organisations who want to offer their skills and knowledge.
List O - Operational Support
For those who would like to offer their active support to the Unit, but may not wish, or are unable to physically participate.
List S - Supporters & Friends
For people who would like to help with administration of the Unit, by way of publicity or fundraising without going afloat.

Initial meeting
We'll respond to your email and answer any queries. We'll also arrange for you to come and meet us.
Induction session
We'll arrange an induction session for you, where the training program will be discussed. We can also offer a trip afloat if you're still unsure.
Start training!
After Induction you'll be free to join any of our social activities or afloat events and start progressing within the charity.
