The 14th April saw us hold our Annual General Meeting, at Lake Yard in Hamworthy, where the top item on the agenda was the election of a new Head of Unit.
Our current Head of Unit, Brian, has decided to step down from the role after three years, the first of which was jointly undertaken with fellow member David.
New Head of Unit Tim was duly elected, as well as Andy for the post of Treasurer. Brian has steered our Unit through the challenges of the last several years and has made a real difference to the running of our branch of the MVS.
Tim steps into the role following a successful career in the Royal Navy and many years of charitable work with various organisations. From all of our members, our thanks to Brian and a very warm welcome and best wishes to Tim (far-right in the picture)!
Thanks to Jan for sending us the photo, showing crew change over between harbour patrols over Easter.
