With the sun shining and temperatures rising, the Easter Bank Holiday saw the start of the new boating season for us at MVS Poole.
Over autumn and winter our program of classroom training continued, the social gatherings carried on despite the weather and finally late winter saw our vessels undergo annual maintenance, but with spring underway we’re able to do what we enjoy most – getting afloat.
Our first harbour patrols of the year took place from Friday 3rd April through to Monday 6th, with volunteers providing daily patrols to offer helpful advice and guidance to visitors to Poole Harbour.
From now until September our crews will be out and about in the harbour at weekends, so give us a way if you pass!
