Volunteers from MVS Poole recently assisted other harbour users whilst on voluntary harbour patrol.
On Sunday 19th September, crew on MVS Avocet went to the aid of the Maisie Barca, a small motorboat drifting in the main channel with engine failure. MVS Avocet sent over a tow line and removed the vessel away from the main channel, where they transferred the boat to a NHYC water taxi.
