MVS Poole has teamed up with local charity Oceans to Earth and Dorset County Council’s Coastal Officer, to work together to help combat litter in Poole Harbour.
We have the pleasure of supporting Oceans to Earth in their mission to help look after our wildlife living in and around Poole Harbour by actively searching for litter when out on patrols and training exercises.
Not only will we collect the litter where possible, but we will also document what we have found and where we found it as well as reporting back to Oceans to Earth. This will help them build a picture of what is going on in the environment based on data gathered in real time.
Not only content with helping to clean up the water, MVS Poole will be working with Jake from Oceans to Earth to organise beach clean up sessions.
